Where It All Started

It didn’t begin in a big kitchen, nor with a business plan, but in a moment that could’ve easily been forgotten. During the lockdown, my brother baked a cake. Simple. Sweet. But to me, it sparked something. I didn’t just want to eat that cake. I wanted to redo it. Better. That first chocolate truffle turned out to be more than just a dessert, it was the beginning of Bake a Tale.

I was pursuing a degree I didn’t care about, preparing to join a family business I didn’t relate to. Honestly, I was lost; just trying to find something that felt like mine. I’ve been in the kitchen since I was 11 or 12 but never thought much of it. Cooking wasn’t my "thing." Until baking happened. Suddenly, everything shifted.

I found myself in ganache-swirled bowls and cloud-soft sponges. I didn’t know it then, but that one day in the kitchen would go on to change the course of my life.

Not Just Baked. Told Like a Tale

In 2024, Bake A Tale formally opened its doors, but the prep work had started long before. I took my pastry course seriously in 2023, worked day and night perfecting flavors, and poured myself into every single recipe, test batch, and tasting. It wasn't just about creating desserts; it was about building something real. Something honest.

Because Bake a Tale exists for people who care about what goes into their food. For those who believe that a dessert shouldn’t just look good but feel unforgettable.

Meet the One Behind It All

Hi, I’m Aman, pharmacist by degree, baker by accident, and chef by obsession.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of being in a bakery. But life has a funny way of nudging you toward the things you’re meant to do. I fell into baking. And once I did, I couldn’t stop. From early home experiments to three-day layered cakes that melt in your mouth, I’ve poured years of practice, failure, learning, and joy into this craft.

I started Bake a Tale because I wanted more people to taste what dessert can really be like. Not just sweet, but soulful. Not just fancy, but full of meaning.

So, whether you’re a sweet tooth, a curious foodie, or someone just looking for something special, welcome to Bake a Tale.

Here, dessert isn’t just food.

It’s a feeling.
